The beloved star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Mia Thornton, officially announced her departure from the Bravo franchise on April 21, ahead of the much-anticipated season 10.

She elaborated, “My family and I have made the decision to relocate to Atlanta, and with that, I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Potomac next season.” This announcement marks a significant shift for the reality star as she embarks on a new chapter.
The 40-year-old has been an integral part of this reality television series since season six, contributing her unique perspectives and vibrant personality through seasons six to nine.
Reflecting on her journey, Mia stated, “The past four seasons have been an unforgettable journey, one filled with growth, lessons, and so many incredible memories.” Her sentiments resonate with many fans who have followed her story throughout her time on the show.
She continued her message with gratitude, saying, “I want to thank Truly Original, Bravo, NBCUniversal, and Andy Cohen for believing in me and giving me the space to share my story. It’s also important to mention that fellow cast member Karen Huger is expected to miss Season 10 after her recent incarceration. She reported to jail in February to serve a one-year sentence following a guilty verdict for driving under the influence, which stemmed from a March 2024 car crash and DUI arrest.
While producers have yet to officially announce the upcoming cast for the new season, familiar faces such as Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch, and Keiarna Stewart are anticipated to return in some capacity, ensuring that fans will still have plenty of drama and excitement to look forward to.
