While in New York for two days hoping to meet the ‘Black or White’ star, Tucker says he grew impatient and boarded a private jet back to Los Angeles. Just as he landed however he received a message that Jackson wanted to meet in New York City the next morning.
Determined, Tucker convinced the pilot to turn the plane around saying, “I’ll pay you whatever you want to take me back to New York.” Tucker would go on to form such a close bond with MJ that he even testified on behalf of the singer in his 2005 trial.
