Mikayla Matthews Moves to Hawaii for CIRS Healing, Exits Utah

Mormon Wives’ Mikayla Matthews Says She’s “Barely Surviving” After Chronic Illness Diagnosis

Mikayla Matthews may no longer be a resident of Utah.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star shared her journey of relocating to Hawaii to alleviate her ongoing symptoms of Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome.

As Mikayla stated in her Instagram video on April 29, “Travel with me to heal my skin.”

“It’s finally time to tell you guys where I’m moving away,” she added in the video showcasing her travel journey. “We’re going to Hawaii.”

In the clip, Mikayla—mother to children Beckham, 8, Haven, 6, Tommie, 4, and Lottie, 9 months, with estranged husband Jace Terry—is seen traveling to her new home with two of her little ones.

Despite experiencing multiple skin flare-ups during the flight to the island, the reality star—who disclosed her CIRS diagnosis in March—remained upbeat. She expressed, “I’m just so excited to be here. Positive vibes.”

“Officially starting the new chapter,” Mikayla, 26, wrote in the caption of her post. “In the most beautiful place how STUNNING is this resort!?! @thewestinmaui.”
