Naturally Curly Hair: Nicole Kidman’s Casual Outing Style

Nicole Kidman’s Daughter Sunday Rose Shares Behind-the-Scenes Look at Met Gala Dress Creation

There’s nothing but upsides when Nicole Kidman shows off her naturally curly hair.

The Upsides actress ditched her usual sleek locks as she showcased her blonde ringlets while enjoying a casual day in nature.

In a photo shared to her Instagram on June 6, Nicole—wearing jeans, a blue button-up shirt, and white sneakers—abandoned all glitz and glam as she leaned against a farm fence with her head thrown back to enjoy the fresh air.

Meanwhile, the Babygirl star let her tresses hang free as her natural curls cascaded down her shoulders.

As she captioned the snap, which also featured horses in the distance, “Weekend Vibes.”

Though Nicole’s signature hairstyle has included straightened locks and perfectly manicured bangs recently, she previously shared how much she misses wearing her hair in its natural state.

Indeed, when she reflects on herself in films such as 1990’s Days of Thunder, she wonders why she ever applied heat to her hair at all.

“Why did I straighten my hair?” the 58-year-old told Allure in a May 2025 interview. “I love my hair there. That is my natural hair. Isn’t that crazy?”
