Dubbed a “supremely satisfying conclusion” and the “season’s best episode” by Collider’s Robert Brian Taylor in his official review, the recent final episode of the sci-fi spectacle Stranger Things has risen straight to the top of the streaming charts as the world sits jaw-dropped at one last outing in the Upside Down. Although the season as a whole has proven divisive, with many calling it the worst yet and even likening this last outing to that of Game of Thrones, the show’s popularity is undeniable. However, it isn’t the only thing on Netflix ready to make your first week of 2026 a success. With all that in mind, here’s a look at three Netflix shows you should binge-watch.

‘Found’ (2023–2025)
Rotten Tomatoes: 70% | IMDb: 6.8/10
The new year on Netflix brings an exciting, fresh slate of arrivals to the platform, with one of these coming in the form of one of the most frustrating cancellations of 2025. NBC’s Found follows Gabi Mosley’s (Shanola Hampton) crisis management team as they use unorthodox methods to help search for missing people from marginalized groups, specializing in those that receive little media attention.
Created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll and also starring the likes of Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta, and Karan Oberoi, Found was arguably on the rise when it got the axe in 2025, sadly finding itself in the wrong place at the wrong time. A compelling psychological drama led by a superb Hampton, Found will keep you gripped for hours.
2
‘Run Away’ (2026)
Rotten Tomatoes: 78% | IMDb: 6.9/10
Now a burgeoning tradition for the world’s leading streamer, a new year wouldn’t be the same without a fresh adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel. This time it’s Run Away, adapted by Danny Brocklehurst, which follows financier Simon Greene (James Nesbitt) and his pediatrician wife, Ingrid (Minnie Driver), as their lives (and those of their children) are thrown into chaos when their eldest daughter runs away from home.
“Run Away is a fun yarn, full of violence and surprises that will keep audiences guessing,” wrote Jeff Ewing in Collider’s official review of the series, as a Coben tale delivers once again in the twists department. Featuring gritty performances and a story that will leave you holding your breath throughout, Run Away is one of the best Coben adaptations to hit Netflix and is well worth your undivided attention.

‘The Four Seasons’ (2025–Present)
Rotten Tomatoes: 78% | IMDb: 7.2/10
Netflix was stacked with great new arrivals in 2025, with this perhaps one of the most underrated. The Four Seasons, an adaptation of the 1981 movie of the same name, follows a group of close-knit friends who have their relationships tested when Nick (Steve Carell) divorces his wife of 25 years, Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), and begins bringing his much younger new girlfriend on their trips together.
Nominated for a Primetime Emmy against strong competition, The Four Seasons might have flown under your radar in 2025, and you should look to rectify that this weekend. After the show’s success with both critics and audiences, a second season entered production and is reported to have finished in December. Also starring the likes of Tina Fey, Will Forte, Marco Clavani, Erika Henningsen, Colman Domingo, Julia Lester, and Ashlyn Maddox, with each set to reprise their roles in Season 2, The Four Seasons is a gem you need to check in to.
