Mays also reported that his wife sustained serious injuries during the incident and required treatment at the emergency room, including staples to her head and injuries to her wrist and knees. Queens of the Apostles School later issued a statement expressing gratitude to the Toledo Police Department for their prompt response and confirming that all students were safe.
