Perez Hilton Undergoes Emergency Surgery for “Massive” Blood Clot After Health Battle

The celebrity blogger, 48, has been hospitalized after police were dispatched to his Miami home following reports that he engaged in self-harm during a TikTok livestream on August 4.
“The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls regarding an individual who was livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media,” authorities told E! News in a statement on August 5. “Deputies quickly located the individual’s residence, where they spoke with family members on scene, and confirmed he was alone inside.”
Since then, authorities noted that they were able to make contact.
“The individual has been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,” police told E! News in a follow-up statement. “The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual’s family.”
The TikTok livestream video, which has since been taken down, appeared to show Hilton covered in blood while holding what seemed to be a knife, according to NBC News.
Shortly thereafter, Hilton’s representatives noted that they were “aware of the concerning content circulating online involving” the podcaster.
