Perez Hilton received treatment for more than just his physical injuries following his self-harm incident.
After the celebrity blogger engaged in self-harm during a livestream on August 4, which led to police being dispatched to his home in Miami, first responders treated him for a drug overdose in addition to his injuries before transporting him to the hospital, according to a Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office incident report obtained by People.
Hilton’s sister Barbara Lavandeira informed police that, prior to their arrival, she had found her brother naked and “covered in blood” in his bathroom, prompting her to take his three children—aged between 8 and 13—to her car to ensure their safety, as stated in the report.
However, before they could leave the house, she reported that her brother (real name Mario Lavandeira Jr.) approached the car naked and bloody and began “banging on the vehicle’s driver window,” according to the sheriff’s office.
