She was a self-taught musician who played various instruments, including the piano and guitar, showcasing her deep love and appreciation for the art of sound.

Kendall had always dreamed of working in the music business from her teenage years. Her position at Sound Talent Group was a perfect match, allowing her to display her exceptional work ethic and organizational skills in planning tours and festivals across the nation. “Fiercely independent and strong-willed, Kendall was known as the life of the party, always bringing energy and joy to any gathering she attended,” the letter continued, highlighting her vibrant personality and the impact she had on those around her.

Kendall Fortner is survived by her loving parents, Gary and Kristin, her brother Justin along with his wife Hannah and their son Theo, as well as her brother Jordan and his wife Kailey. The family is left to cherish her memory and the joy she brought into their lives.

Emma Huke, aged 25, was a native of Orange County, California, where she was raised and attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School. During her time in high school, she was an active member of a national championship-winning dance team, which showcased her dedication and talent in the performing arts.

“After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2022 with a degree in journalism, Emma immersed herself in the music industry through various internships before joining Sound Talent Group in 2024 as a booking associate,” the statement from STG reveals. “There was nothing Emma cherished more than experiencing live music. She diligently saved money to indulge in attending concerts and festivals. While her musical interests were diverse, she particularly adored watching Taylor Swift and The 1975 perform live,” the letter shares. “Emma infused her work with that same passion for live performances, demonstrating her intelligence and organizational skills while helping STG plan and promote their largest tours. Colleagues and friends often referred to Emma as a force of nature, recognizing her vibrant spirit and the joy she radiated to everyone around her.”

Emma Huke is survived by her loving parents, Tim and Allison, along with her younger sibling, Ellis. Her family is left to honor her memory and the happiness she spread.

Dominic Damian was a close friend of Dave Shapiro and worked as a senior software engineer. His professional background highlights his remarkable skills and contributions to his field, as noted in his LinkedIn profile.

Dominic held a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and trained at Baret Yoshida’s gym in San Diego, where he resided. To honor his memory, the gym will hold a special event on Monday (May 26). His dedication to martial arts and his community will be remembered fondly.

“Dom was intelligent, thoughtful, and possessed exceptional jiu-jitsu skills. He was a genuinely kind person who will be deeply missed,” expressed one online tribute, reflecting the impact he made on those who knew him.

Celina Kenyon, aged 36, was a talented professional photographer who joined the group to capture moments at a concert. According to a letter from her family, Kenyon “chose to fly home to San Diego with other crew members and friends on a late-night private flight instead of taking a commercial flight so she could return early to take her daughter to school.” This decision reflects her dedication to family and commitment to being present in her daughter’s life.
