Monica Barbaro wore a plunging Altuzarra top with a high-slit skirt during the press run for her new movie, “ARTIFICIAL.” On October 11, photos and videos of her look in the daring ensemble went viral online. The outfit blended soft, romantic textures with modern tailoring, creating an elegant contrast.
Monica Barbaro’s Altuzarra look combines a plunging top with a high-slit black skirt
For the “ARTIFICIAL” press run, Monica Barbaro opted for a look from Altuzarra’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection. She wore a light, cream-colored pleated sleeveless top featuring a deep, plunging V-neckline. Ribbon tie accents decorated the center front and shoulders. Adorning the upper chest and shoulders are floral beaded sequin embellishments in muted silver, gold, and champagne tones, giving the fabric a touch of sparkle.
The bottom half of the top transitioned into a wide, chartreuse-olive green pleated band that wrapped around the high waist. The muted green section bridged the gap between the lightweight top half and the dark midi skirt below.
The skirt fit closely around the hips and extended down past the knees. It featured a front center slit lined with an eye-catching, contrasting cream-white underlayer adorned with dark floral embroidery. As she walked, the slit opened up to reveal a hint of her toned legs.
Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, Barbaro completed her look with white pointed-toe pumps. The shoes elongated her leg line while echoing the bright tones of her top. Her beauty styling was fresh and radiant. She wore her dark brown hair parted on the side and swept back behind one ear, falling in loose, polished waves down her back and shoulder.
Her makeup featured a warm, glowing complexion with soft peach blush on the cheekbones, bronzed eyeshadow, and a natural nude pink lip color. She kept the jewelry minimal with small, sparkling hoop earrings that added just enough sparkle to her look without overpowering her outfit.
