With a reported budget of $20 million, The Crazies needed to earn between $40 million and $50 million to break even, which it successfully achieved. The film holds a respectable 72% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 156 reviews. Currently, Olyphant’s horror classic outperforms larger films on the Lionsgate+ chart in Canada, surpassing titles like The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and interestingly enough, another Olyphant horror film, Scream 2. Sam Worthington’s action thriller from 2017, Manhunt, tops the list.

This will be Brad Pitt’s The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, a sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s iconic film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The new movie is written by Tarantino and directed by David Fincher, a long-time collaborator of Pitt.
