Now, the streamer has welcomed an unexpected new addition to this small group.
With the fourth season of Reacher just weeks away, audiences seem to have found a perfect substitute in a French-language thriller series that follows a soldier who is compelled to go rogue to protect his unit. This six-episode action-thriller has become a global sensation; according to FlixPatrol, it is currently the number one show on Netflix worldwide. It is also among the streamer’s top five most-watched shows domestically, surpassing the record-setting hit I Will Find You. Netflix’s latest viewership report, which tracked the performance of shows and films from July 20 to July 26, revealed that the French-language sensation debuted with 10 million views. Not only did it outperform every other international title on the platform, but it also more than doubled Ransom Canyon‘s 4.1 million views for that week. In fact, it outpaced every show on the English-language list, including I Will Find You, Little House on the Prairie, The Hawk, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
