Exciting announcements have come forth regarding Record Store Day 2025, scheduled for April 12, featuring exclusive releases from legendary artists like John Lennon, Roger Waters, and David Bowie. This year’s lineup showcases remarkable recordings, including never-before-heard live performances that are set to captivate music lovers and collectors alike.
Among the highlights, three previously unreleased live tracks from John Lennon are featured in the collection titled Power to the People: Live at the One to One Concert, New York City, 1972. This limited-edition EP, pressed on vibrant yellow vinyl, commemorates Lennon’s only full-length solo concerts following his time with the Beatles. The performances, which include collaborative efforts with Yoko Ono, the Plastic Ono Band, and Elephant’s Memory, were part of a significant benefit concert held at Madison Square Garden, attracting an audience of approximately 40,000 and raising over $1.5 million for children with special needs.
In addition, The Dark Side of the Moon Redux Live features Roger Waters delivering his reimagined rendition of the iconic Pink Floyd album, marking his only live performance of this version. This exclusive LP, presented on striking neon pink vinyl, is a must-have for fans of both Waters and the legendary band.
