Robert Irwin is being cautious about revealing details regarding his romantic life.
The Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro host chose to remain discreet when asked recently if there is someone special in his life.
“Yeah, well, I keep that pretty private,” Irwin told The Daily Mail in an interview published on August 13. “Everything with my personal life.”
The 22-year-old’s remarks followed his comments on the speculation that he might be the next lead of The Bachelor, stating that “anything could happen.”
“Never say never,” he told Entertainment Tonight regarding the rumors back in February. “I’m in this realm right now where I’m like, ‘never say never.’”
However, Irwin expressed skepticism that his romantic life would make for compelling television.
“I’m an animal conservationist,” he stated. “That’s my thing. My world is very different from most of the things that are reported on about me.”
“My life is a lot more boring than you might think,” Irwin added. “It’s exciting when it comes to animals. I mean, I’m jumping on crocs and I’m catching snakes and I’m rescuing koalas. But when it comes to that side of it, I’m pretty vanilla.”
