Russell Brand is responding to his ex-wife Katy Perry‘s new relationship.
To recap, the 50-year-old Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor and the 41-year-old “Teenage Dream” singer married in October 2010, and he filed for divorce in December 2011. Their divorce was finalized in July 2012.
After ending her engagement to Orlando Bloom last summer, Katy has started dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
While speaking at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona, on Thursday, (December 18), Russell went on a tirade about Justin, 53, labeling him a “globalist stooge.”

“I was fine with Orlando Bloom,” he continued. “But Justin Trudeau? C’mon, man! Don’t put me in a category with that guy!”
“Alright, praise Jesus,” he added.
Russell then mentioned that he holds no ill feelings towards Katy‘s parents, who he noted were present at the conservative event.
“My ex-wife’s parents are here. They’re Christians and I love them. I love Mary Perry,” Russell said. “God bless you, thank you for bringing the message to me.”
