The Satanic duo Twin Temple announced via social media that they have been removed from their upcoming shows with outlaw country star Charley Crockett due to their use of Satanic imagery.
Earlier this year, Crockett revealed a major summer tour featuring various opening acts to showcase for his audience, and Twin Temple was scheduled to perform on July 14 in Troutdale, Oregon, and on July 18 in Paso Robles, California, as part of the “Age of the Ram” tour. However, it appears that there was insufficient research regarding the opening band at the time of booking, which became problematic once their Satanic themes were discovered.
What Did Twin Temple Say About Their Removal From Charley Crockett’s Shows?
The band informed their fans about the schedule change through an Instagram post explaining the situation.
“Today we were informed that Charley Crockett has decided to remove Twin Temple from his upcoming shows next week due to our Satanic imagery,” stated the Satanic doo-wop duo.
“Unfortunately, that means we will not be able to perform for you next week as planned,” they added, expressing disappointment about missing the opportunity to connect with fans and bring together diverse music lovers.
They concluded their message with, “We are sorry to everyone who was planning to see us. We’re grateful for your support, not only of Twin Temple but more importantly of artistic freedom. HAIL SATAN! 93/93.”
More About Twin Temple
Twin Temple consists of married couple Alexandra and Zachary James, who began their musical journey in 2017 by merging their passions for ’50s and ’60s rock ‘n’ roll with the exploration of Satanism in their music.
Their 2019 album served as a mission statement titled Twin Temple Bring You Their Signature Sound … Satanic Doo-Wop. They have since released two more albums, with the latest being God Is Dead in 2023. Some of their most notable singles include “I Am a Witch,” “Satan’s a Woman,” “Let’s Have a Satanic Orgy,” and “Burn Your Bible,” showcasing their unabashed devotion to Satanism.

The duo has faced backlash, including public condemnation from Infowars host Alex Jones, who labeled them as “the embodiment of pure evil.” Alexandra shared with Kerrang!, “We were on the front page of the LA Times, about this new generation of Satanism. We ended up featured on Alex Jones and then all these super-huge Christian news outlets picked it up.” This led to instances of doxxing, receiving bibles, and experiencing harassment from extreme Christian groups.
While the Charley Crockett tour may not have aligned well with their image, Twin Temple is set to return to familiar territory this fall when they support Danzig on a September tour.
