Scott Probst, Brother of Survivor Host Jeff Probst, Passes Away


Jeff Probst’s family is facing a significant loss.

The Survivor host’s youngest brother Scott Probst has passed away, his family announced on May 11.

“Some sad news, our brother Scott is no longer with us,” brother Brent Probst shared on Instagram alongside a photo of Scott. “He was a great brother, son and friend. I will miss him so much. I’m so sad he is gone.”

No cause of death was provided for Scott, who served as a crew member for the CBS show from 2006 to 2012.

In light of this tragic news, many members of the Survivor franchise expressed their condolences to the Probst family.

“I am so terribly sorry Brent,” season 33 winner Adam Klein commented in the comments section. “Sending love to you and your whole family.”

Meanwhile, season 47 contestant Teeny Chirichillo wrote, “Thinking of you and your family. I’m so sorry.”

Brent’s daughter Amanda Probst, who is currently dating season 45 runner-up Austin Li Coon, also shared a heartfelt tribute to her uncle Scott, stating, “I can’t believe I’m writing this.”
