Brie Garcia is making the most of her limited free time for intimacy whenever possible.
In the realm of date nights with her husband, Bryan Danielson—whom she married in 2014—the Total Bellas star candidly shared that finding time for intimate moments has become increasingly challenging while they juggle parenting responsibilities for their children, Birdie Danielson, aged 7, and Buddy Danielson, aged 4. This struggle is common among many couples who strive to maintain their relationship while raising young kids.
“I feel like Bryan and I aren’t the types to be like, ‘Oh, on Wednesday,’” she revealed during an episode of SiriusXM’s Nikki & Brie Show on April 17, speaking with her twin sister Nikki Garcia and guest Jena Sims Koepka. “But he and I will say—this is so funny—he and I are like, ‘We should probably have sex tonight because I go out of town tomorrow.’” This humorous approach highlights the reality many couples face when trying to prioritize intimacy amidst busy schedules.
Occasionally, the rare chances for some quality time together without the children arise at rather unconventional hours during the day.
“Our daughter has a full day at school,” the 41-year-old explained, “but our son just started to go later in the day, so we finally did it. After our workout, we felt an urge, and it was spontaneous and nice, and we were like, ‘Are we gonna start to be daytime intimacy people?’” This spontaneous moment underscores the importance of seizing opportunities for connection, no matter how unconventional they may be.
