Why Was The Celeb Hairstylist Locked Up?

According to previous coverage from The Shade Room, Jonathan Wright was incarcerated due to a gun charge. Outlets like the social media blog Lemon8 further claim that the charge was connected to an incident involving having it at an airport. However, the airport’s location is reportedly in Texas, but the exact facility remains unclear. He was allegedly arrested and sentenced to one year in prison in December 2025. In early January, his Instagram account shared a message stating he was “doing very well” and in “good spirits.” The message also expressed gratitude to “everyone who sent emails, text messages, calls, prayers and just all love to him.”
