The Cypress Hills neighborhood in Brooklyn experienced a shocking incident that turned a night of celebration into chaos, leaving multiple teenagers injured early Sunday morning. Authorities are currently investigating the situation.

Six Teens Reportedly Injured In Brooklyn Sweet 16 Shooting

According to New York City police, six teenagers were shot following a Sweet 16 party at an event space near Ashford Street and Atlantic Avenue. The victims include two 15-year-old girls, a 15-year-old boy, two 16-year-old boys, and a 17-year-old boy. All were transported to nearby hospitals and are reported to be in stable condition. The shooting occurred around 1 a.m., approximately 20 minutes after the party concluded.

Suspects On The Run After Brooklyn Shooting, Investigation Ongoing

Police are actively searching for two male suspects who were seen fleeing the scene wearing masks and all-black clothing. A banquet hall near Lucile Avenue was the site of a deadly attack, resulting in 14 injuries and four confirmed deaths. Early reports suggest it may have been a targeted attack, although authorities are exploring all possibilities. Stockton’s Vice Mayor Jason Lee expressed heartfelt messages on social media, offering prayers to the families and children affected while urging anyone with information or footage to come forward.
