Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Wedding Features Paul McCartney Performance

Maren Morris Reveals Custom Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Gift With “Blank Space” Egg

Paul McCartney didn’t let Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce down.

The Beatles alum brought the sun to Madison Square Garden for the couple’s July 3 nuptials in New York City, performing the band’s 1963 classic “I Want to Hold Your Hand” live for the first time in more than 60 years, according to multiple outlets.

Indeed, the last time McCartney sang the hit track in front of audiences was in 1964, per setlist.fm. But 62 years later, Swift and Kelce took the song out of retirement to act as the perfect backdrop for the biggest milestone yet in their love story.

E! News has reached out to a representative for McCartney but has not heard back.

Swift’s relationship with the “Blackbird” singer dates back to 2020, when the pair appeared as Rolling Stone’s cover stars that November.

Six years later, McCartney reflected on how Swift’s level of fame reminded him of his own career high.
