Tyler Baltierra is sharing insights about his and Catelynn Lowell‘s current situation.
After years of a challenging relationship with the adoptive parents of the Teen Mom stars’ biological daughter Carly, Tyler disclosed their current relationship with the 16-year-old and how they keep in touch with her.
“As far as our relationship goes,” he admitted on the April 27 episode of the Cake For Dinner podcast, “we don’t really have [one].”
“I set up an email for her that Cate and I will write to,” Tyler continued, “and that’s pretty much the only way we’re maintaining any kind of communication.”
As the reality star recounted, he and Catelynn—who placed Carly for adoption in 2009—created the email address after the teen’s adoptive parents, Brandon Davis and Teresa Davis, closed the adoption in 2023.
“We figured if we set up an email for her, and write to it, and then one day if she ever wants it, we can give her the login and the password,” he explained. “And she can kind of just go through the email herself.”
