Throuples Introduced in Love Island USA

Apparently, three’s not always a crowd.

Love Island USA season eight introduced a new twist in the final moments of its premiere episode: throuples. And here’s how it went down.

About 24 hours into their Love Island experience, the pairings were asked to decide whether they wanted to stay committed to their current couple or explore other options. For those who wanted out—Beatriz, Trinity, Bryce and Zach—new bombshells were introduced to sweep them off their feet.

And indeed, newcomer Gabriel took Beatriz and Trinity to a special hideaway for the evening, while Kayda spirited Bryce and Zach away from the villa.

The two groupings of three spent the evening together away from the rest of the Islanders, exploring these new possible connections (and yes, sleeping in one XL bed together) while back at the villa, Kenzie and Sean were left single.

For Sean, being left by Beatriz was “honestly surprising,” telling host Ariana Madix, “I feel like we had good chemistry, good conversation, and everything seemed to be going well.”
