Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped back from their senior royal duties in 2020 and eventually settled in Montecito, where they’ve focused on raising their family away from much of the intense public scrutiny surrounding the royal family.
While Harry and Meghan continue making headlines, public fascination has also centered on their two children: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Windsor. Archie was born in May 2019, while Lilibet arrived in June 2021.
Harry and Meghan have largely kept their children out of the spotlight, only occasionally sharing glimpses of family life through holiday cards, documentaries, interviews, and select social media posts.
Before the christening, Harry spoke out about Archie at the Invictus Games, giving supporters a further glimpse into his life as a dad.

During her aforementioned appearance on The Ellen Show on Meghan also discussed how Archie was adjusting to the new baby in the house.
Meghan continued, “Suddenly we realized, ‘Oh, right.’ Everyone talks about what it’s like for the second child but no one talks about the adjustment for the first child when the second one comes along.”
Harry also recently reflected on parenthood on the TODAY Show while at the Invictus Games.
“Suddenly as a parent… especially now Archie is at an age where he’s asking all these questions!” Harry laughed.
He added, “I love it! I love every part of it.”
The couple is now raising their children at their Santa Barbara home.
