In line with expectations for the Spring 2027 fashion month, Veronica Leoni’s tenure as creative director of Calvin Klein Collection is coming to an end. The New York-based fashion house confirmed that Leoni will depart at the conclusion of her current contract. Appointed in early 2024, the Italian designer and 2023 LVMH Prize finalist was tasked with overseeing the reintroduction of Calvin Klein Collection, which represents the brand’s premium runway line. Leoni’s time at Calvin Klein was short-lived, lasting only four seasons. A new creative leader for Calvin Klein Collection will be announced soon.

“Told ya.” [Olaffo]
“Good riddance.” [DesEsseintes]
“I mean are we surprised? As it’s often said here, her work is fully devoid of character and any type of beauty in any sense of the word.” [prada melodies]
“Still surprised she lasted that long to be honest. The very first collection was telling that she wouldn’t last long. I thought Leoni would be out after her second season. Some labels/lines shouldn’t be re-launched. ” [nunovo]
“Leoni’s last Calvin Klein collection was her best, indeed. However, it was not special enough. Her tenure was lackluster and forgettable.” [MModa]
“To me they had a missed opportunity with Dario. He could’ve infused the brand with a little bit 80s street nostalgia while still being cool and desirable. Something “young” (hate this word), less pretentious, less Phoebe wannabe.” [Creative]
“I love Phoebe [Philo] ,we all do, but all her protégés should go away forever. It’s about f**king time!
Daniel at Burberry next, Michael at Celine, and MB at Chanel! Peter failed at Helmut Lang, and this woman failed at CK. Let’s restore fashion!” [TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu]
