Moreover, the esteemed Musical Excellence Award will honor the talents of producer Thom Bell, pianist Nicky Hopkins, and bassist Carol Kaye, while Lenny Waronker, a notable producer and music industry executive, will receive this year’s Ahmet Ertegun Award for his significant impact on the music scene.

As for performances, it remains uncertain which inductees, if any, will take the stage during the ceremony. The surviving members of Bad Company have not shared the stage since 2019, while Soundgarden disbanded following the tragic passing of singer Chris Cornell in 2017. Additionally, The White Stripes separated in 2011, and both Joe Cocker and Warren Zevon have passed away, making the potential for live performances a topic of much speculation.

The highly anticipated ceremony will be broadcast live on Saturday, Nov. 8, from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, although the exact time has yet to be announced. Viewers can enjoy the entire ceremony live on Disney+, with the opportunity to stream it on Hulu the following day. Additionally, an edited version will be aired on ABC at a later date, offering another chance for fans to witness this monumental event.
If you’re interested in attending the ceremony in person, you’ll need to be patient, as ticket sale details will be revealed at a later time according to the Rock Hall’s press release. They do indicate that “select Rock & Roll Hall of Fame donors and members receive exclusive induction ticket opportunities.” If you wish to be eligible for these offers, you must make a donation by June 30.
