Jen Affleck has had less time to practice her routine for this week’s Dancing With the Stars!
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star’s husband Zac took to his TikTok this week to ask for prayers as she’s been battling an illness ahead of the dance competition’s “Dedication Night” on Tuesday (October 14).

“This week she has been so sick she hasn’t been able to practice, and has been stuck in bed most of the week,” Zac shared on TikTok on Monday (October 13). “Call it chance or God, but her Mom has been in town this week to make her homemade meals and help take care of her.”
“Jen would never ask but she really needs all the help and prayers she can get!” he added.
On tonight’s episode of Dancing With the Stars, which is “Dedication Night,” Jen is dedicating her routine to her mom Maria. She will be performing a Viennese Waltz to “Rescue” by Lauren Daigle with pro partner Jan Ravnik.
“It’s dedication night so I’m dedicating tonight to my mom and all the moms around the world. Giving birth to me wasn’t the last time my mother carried and rescued me, she did it again when I needed help in labor. It wasn’t until I became a mom that I realized what my mom did for me growing up and what mothers do every single day. Moms often suffer in silence yet always show up without recognition. So tonight, I hope every mom gets the recognition she deserves,” Jen shared on Instagram ahead of the live show.
