According to FlixPatrol, The Drama claimed the No. 1 spot on HBO Max’s Top 10 Movies chart in the U.S. on August 3, 2026. The film climbed ahead of several high-profile movies, including Mortal Kombat II, We Live in Time, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, and Tag, among others. Released on April 3, 2026, The Drama stars Zendaya opposite Robert Pattinson.
The streaming achievement comes amid the continuing success of back-to-back hit movies starring Zendaya. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, in which she reprises her role as MJ, debuted in U.S. theaters on July 31, 2026. According to Box Office Mojo, it opened to an estimated $355 million plus at the domestic box office.
