Samira Nasr’s Harper’s Bazaar simply doesn’t hold the same might as Glenda Bailey’s. However, at the very least, Nasr regularly welcomes models onto the cover of the Hearst-owned fashion title. Since succeeding Bailey in 2020, names like Liya Kebede, Naomi Campbell, Kaia Gerber, Gisele Bündchen, Lauren Hutton, Gigi Hadid, Linda Evangelista, and Mona Tougaard (to name just a select few) have graced the title as cover stars. Next up, making a return to the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, is Alex Consani, who fronts the Summer 2026 edition of the magazine. Photographed by Jonathan Frantini and styled by Rae Boxer, the American model-of-the-moment poses against a grey studio backdrop, in a look from Nicolas Ghesquière’s Spring 2026 Louis Vuitton collection.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“That doesn’t even look like her,” remarked Hchloe upon checking out the cover.
“She looks so much like Tilda Swinton,” KoV pointed out.
“Very bland,” stated prylvi.
Also not feeling it was vogue28. “Goodness grief, it’s all just so glum and solum-looking for a summer cover! A massively missed opportunity when you have such an expressive model, full of personality like Alex Consani – and we get this result. Limp hair, barely-there makeup, and lackluster photography. Unbelievable!”
“Photography on a budget! Learn how to spend less than $100 on a magazine shoot! See page 26,” mocked a disapproving Kimy Jo.
“This cover is far from perfect, but I do like the color palette and light reflection on the wall,” reasoned MModa.
