Apple Martin, Daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow, Makes Directorial Debut With Student Show
Apple Martin is following in her family’s footsteps.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s daughter will be making her film debut in Nancy Meyers’ upcoming project, as reported by Deadline and Entertainment Weekly on May 18.
The 22-year-old, who graduated from Vanderbilt University earlier this month, will star alongside an impressive cast that includes Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Jude Law, Owen Wilson, Tony Hale, and Erin Doherty. The film, initially titled Paris Paramount, is set to premiere in December 2027, marking Nancy’s first feature film since The Intern in 2015.
While specific plot details of Nancy’s semi-autobiographical story and Apple’s role remain undisclosed, the filmmaker—renowned for writing The Holiday, Something’s Gotta Give, and It’s Complicated—has previously shared hints about what audiences can expect back in 2023.
