In the trailer, Scott plays Tom Kennedy, a widowed crime writer whose life is shattered when his eight-year-old son disappears. Together, they piece together that the boy’s disappearance may be connected to a child-murdering serial killer, the titular Whisper Man; Peter caught him 30 years ago and put him in prison, where he remains.
