Amy Schumer is providing an inside look at her journey through parenthood.
The 44-year-old celebrated her son Gene‘s 7th birthday, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Fisher.
Wearing floral face paint, she shared in a May 3 Instagram Story, “This [woman] just threw her first birthday party as a single mom.”
The Trainwreck star posted pictures of herself socializing at the lively party and enjoying cake with her son. The birthday cake featured ninja stars, a sword, a ninja topper, and a banner that read, “Happy 7th Birthday Gene!”
In addition to the party, Amy took her son to the zoo, showcasing the animals they encountered including a hedgehog, bears, a leopard, and a red panda. Covering his face with a sticker, she smiled alongside Gene, who wore a humorous shirt that said “I was 6, now I’m 7.”
The Inside Amy Schumer alum went all out for Gene’s birthday celebration, marking his first milestone after Amy’s separation from Chris. The couple ended their marriage after seven years in December 2025.
