“He designed it with this amazing jeweler,” the 14-time Grammy winner detailed during an October appearance on the Heart Breakfast Show. “Kindred Lubreck is her name and she does all of her gold engraving by hand.”
Before the owner of NYC-based Artifex Fine Jewelry crafted a diamond-encrusted wedding band for Swift, she created a true “Wi$h Li$t” design: A vintage-style 10-carat mine-cut diamond worth upwards of $1 million.
“I just thought her stuff was so cool,” Swift explained. “So I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago and he was just paying attention to everything it turns out.”
When he dropped to one knee in his flower-filled backyard, she added, “I was like, ‘I know who made that, I know who made that!’ And also, ‘You listen to me.'”
It’s a love story, baby, though Swift’s not the only major star to have just said yes in the past year.
Close pal Zoë Kravitz accepted an elongated cushion-cut solitaire stone with a thin gold bezel from Harry Styles, while Sienna Miller has been accessorizing her outfits with a round diamond courtesy of actor Oli Green.
