This season of Daredevil: Born Again continues to expand the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the small screen, introducing new characters and emphasizing what we already love about our fan-favorites. But considering that Jon Bernthal‘s Frank Castle has already secured his own spin-off production with the special presentation of The Punisher: One Last Kill, we thought it might be fun to put a list together of characters who we would follow into an official Disney+ spin-off.

While the season finale ends with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) being locked away for his crimes as Daredevil, that doesn’t mean that everyone’s Born Again story is complete. Aside from teasing a reunion of The Defenders, Season 2 also asserts the idea that several other characters could easily headline their own projects — however those may look. Here’s a list of five Daredevil: Born Again characters (well, six really) who we’d like to follow in their own MCU projects.

Jessica Jones & Luke Cage

After Mike Colter‘s surprising return as Luke Cage in the Born Again finale alongside his wife(?) Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), we see that Jess has returned to her New York roots and decided to reopen Alias Investigations. Watching a series about this MCU power-couple as they raise their daughter in New York City would be an absolute blast, and perhaps the best way to revive Luke Cage and Jessica Jones in the process. Add Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones) and call it Heroes for Hire, and you’ll definitely catch the attention of Marvel fans everywhere.

Of course, even if we just got another Jessica Jones tale about the heroine’s new Alias work, it would be great to see more of Luke and Jessica’s life together raising Danielle. Who knows, with the power vacuum left by Kingpin’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) defeat, perhaps now is the time for Jessica to continue to expose corruption throughout the Big Apple as Luke runs for mayor? Stranger things have certainly happened, and with Daredevil now off the streets, Hell’s Kitchen will need someone to look out for it in his absence.

White Tiger

After her uncle, the original White Tiger, was killed in the first season, Angela del Toro (Camila Rodriguez) has been trying desperately to follow in his footsteps. Season 2 has even gone so far as to re-introduce the White Tiger totem that Hector Ayala (Kamar de los Reyes) wore before. Of course, anyone who knows anything about the 616 world of Marvel Comics (aka the comic book universe) knows that, eventually, Angela becomes the next White Tiger.

Now, admittedly, a White Tiger series is a bit of a long shot. But what might be interesting is another special presentation in the same vein as the recent Punisher spin-off. What could be even more compelling is if it would alternate between following Hector during his own war on crime and then flash-forward to Angela’s time under the mask. Together, a White Tiger project could have real legs, and be an interesting way to continue her saga from Born Again.

Bullseye

Perhaps the most underrated character of Daredevil: Born Again has been Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter (Wilson Bethel), aka Bullseye. Not only has he been a terrifying force to be reckoned with since the days of the original Netflix series, but Dex continues to make his mark on the MCU well into the Born Again revival. Indeed, the character’s Season 2 redemption arc has come as a surprise to many familiar with the overly sadistic character from the comics, but the way that this season ends his story leaves the door open for so much more.

As Bullseye joins the ranks of Matthew Lillard‘s Mr. Charles in place of Luke Cage, a short-term spin-off following his work for the U.S. government overseas could be quite compelling. Especially if Bullseye continues to inch toward redemption, it may be that he begins to struggle with his work over time, or at least find himself sympathizing with those he never used to before. Talk about narrative potential.

BB Urich

The death of New York City journalist Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) in the first season of the original Daredevil series certainly left a hole in the Man Without Fear’s MCU adventures. After all, Urich is quite an important character in Matt Murdock’s larger Marvel story. But Born Again has attempted to rectify that loss with his niece, BB Urich (Genneya Walton), who has put her life on the line to expose Wilson Fisk’s agenda for the Big Apple. Now, if we’re being completely honest, nobody is itching for a BB Report spin-off. However, if Marvel Studios were up for it, the brand could bring BB back for more in the form of a web-series.

A nose-to-the-ground, news-based program about vigilantes in NYC post-Kingpin could be an interesting and engaging way to engage with theBorn Again audience between seasons. Not only could it include tons of MCU cameos (like Spider-Man or any other New York-based character), but it would be a killer marketing tool that Marvel could use to build anticipation — and if it does well, theBB Report could be used again for other nonDaredevil projects too.
