When Chrisley attempted to leave her home, according to the affidavit, the situation escalated into a physical altercation. She accused Landsman of strangling her multiple times, including one instance, per the filing, in which he strangled her “with one hand and held her up so that her feet were off the ground” while yelling at her. Chrisley stated that she repeatedly asked Landsman to stop, but he did not.

The 36-year-old alleged that after she punched him near his eyebrow during the struggle, Landsman grabbed her “by the throat again and opened the door and threw her outside,” where she reported hitting her head on the concrete.

Chrisley mentioned that after she left, Landsman called the police the next day to report her for punching him. The reality star wrote in the petition that she returned to his home on April 10 after authorities requested her presence, where they examined her injuries on her neck and head, according to the affidavit. After observing the “lacerations on her head from being thrown onto the ground” and marks on her neck, Landsman was arrested.
