Kaia Gerber was wearing the Alaia Bustier Draped Jersey Midi Dress. It featured a strapless bodice crafted from black leather panels that hugged her frame. The fitted upper half was punctuated by a series of bold cutouts running down the center, held together by delicate, structural ties that exposed subtle flashes of skin. The detailing created a corset-inspired effect.
Contrasting the rigid texture of the top, the dress flowed into an asymmetrical, deep chocolate brown skirt made of a finely pleated, lightweight fabric. It gathered at the left hip, cascading down into an elegant, draped high-low hemline that formed a beautiful, fluid volume on one side while simultaneously opening up into a dramatic, thigh-high leg slit on the other. The daring cut lent the dress a sense of movement and modern sensuality without feeling overdone.
Styled by Emma Jade Morrison, Gerber kept her styling effortless and minimal to complement the rich tone of the dress. She paired the gown with the Paris Texas Lidia Mule 105. The $745 black patent leather mules maintained the focus on her dress. Further, she wore her long brunette hair in loose, natural waves that framed her face. Meanwhile, her makeup was fresh and natural, featuring a smoky eye, a touch of bronze contour on her cheekbones, and a matte nude lip.
