According to Deadline, the talented Charlize Theron and charismatic Channing Tatum are joining forces in a delightful new comedy titled Dance Parents. This exciting project is under the direction of Jonathan Levine, known for his work on Long Shot. The report reveals that the film sparked an intense bidding war, with Universal Pictures emerging victorious in securing the rights to this highly anticipated project. The script will be penned by Meghan Malloy, a talented writer recognized for her contributions to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

On the other hand, Theron is part of an impressive ensemble cast in Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming epic, The Odyssey, where she takes on the role of the formidable sorceress, Circe. The Odyssey narrates the legendary story of Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, and his perilous journey home after the decade-long Trojan War. His voyage is fraught with danger, including encounters with the mighty Cyclops Polyphemus, the enchanting Sirens, and the witch-goddess Circe.
