The Dune Popcorn Bucket
Years ago, when Dune: Part Two was released, AMC embraced the trend of creative popcorn buckets inspired by films. The Dune: Part Two bucket featured a Dune sandworm emerging from it, with its mouth serving as the entry point for popcorn. This design sparked a flurry of jokes on social media due to the suggestive appearance of the sandworm’s mouth. With a new Dune sequel on the horizon, the studio is ready to delight fans once again.
Dune: Part Three Popcorn Bucket
According to Variety, the design for the popcorn bucket associated with Dune: Part Three has been revealed, and AMC is going all out with two sandworms. In addition to the double sandworm bucket, there will also be a version featuring a sandworm alongside a sandworm thumper, which is the device used to attract sandworms in the films. Hank Green, AMC’s senior VP of food and beverage, stated, “The AMC Sandworm popcorn bucket for Dune: Part Two became a viral phenomenon, and we knew that Dune fans would have high expectations for what came next. From the moment we started planning the Dune: Part Three collectibles, our goal was to exceed those fan expectations. The Sandworm Thumper and Double Sandworm collectibles take the experience to the next level with designs straight from the movie.”
