Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz is parting ways with his wife after a decade-long relationship. He married Paige Price in 2019 after the couple first met in 2016.
What did Frankie Muniz say about his divorce?
Frankie Muniz announced his divorce from Paige Price in a lengthy post shared on X on Wednesday. Although the couple had separated some time ago, Muniz had kept the news private until now.
The actor wrote, “After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents. We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.”
The Malcolm in the Middle star thanked Paige “for everything she’s done for me and our family. She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter.”
Muniz added that, despite their separation, “respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere. We’re excited to keep building Muniz Racing together and to co-parent our boy with the same teamwork and love we’ve always had.”
Muniz also made it clear that neither he nor Paige would be commenting further on the matter. “Please respect our families privacy during this time.”
While he is trying to find a balance in his personal life, Muniz recently returned to television with the Malcolm in the Middle revival. More than two decades after the original show wrapped, its second part, Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, premiered earlier this year.
Similar to the iconic sitcom, which was a hit among critics and fans, the second installment also managed to receive mostly positive reactions. Currently, it holds a solid Tomatometer score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair is available to stream on Hulu.
