Sabrina Carpenter’s backless Giorgio Armani gown has huge cutouts at Academy Museum Gala
At the Academy Museum Gala, Sabrina Carpenter looked like the diva she is in a custom Armani Privé gown. The vibrant royal blue dress featured a floor-length silhouette with a waist cutout, exposing the sides and creating a sculpted, hourglass effect. Two slender straps extended over the shoulders.
At the back, these straps gracefully transitioned into elaborate, cascading clusters of glistening blue beaded fringe that hung symmetrically. They added rich texture and fluid movement to the entire back profile.
Besides the fringe, the upper half of her back was completely bare, adding a bold twist to the dress. From the cinched and fitted midsection, the skirt flowed smoothly downward, ending in a train that pooled elegantly on the floor.
The “Nonsense” singer elevated the regal color palette with Chopard high jewelry earrings. The dazzling pieces featured brilliant blue sapphires surrounded by radiant clusters of sparkling diamonds. The Maison Raksha diamond initial rings on her fingers added a bespoke element to her look without stealing the attention from her dress.
Further, Carpenter wore her signature blonde hair in a classic, soft Hollywood wave with a sophisticated center part. The voluminous waves with beautifully curled ends framed her face and fell gently over her shoulders.
Her makeup was warm and luminous. It featured a flush of rosy pink blush across the cheeks, defined brows, and subtle eye makeup. Meanwhile, the rich, deep mauve-toned lip color complemented the intense, vibrant blue hue of the gown.
