At this rate, Szilveszter Makó has a chokehold on the industry. After all, the Hungarian photographer is absolutely everywhere. In a few short months, Makó has photographed a multitude of magazine covers, including those of Vogue Arabia, British Harper’s Bazaar, and American ELLE (to name just a select few). Chole Malle at American Vogue is the latest to jump on the bandwagon, enlisting the photographer to profile Jenna Ortega for the November 2026 cover of the magazine. Against a dusky lavender backdrop, cover shoot stylist Tabitha Simmons dresses the American actress in a dress from Jonathan Anderson's Christian Dior Cruise 2027 collection.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Szilveszter Makó is on fire! This is a good cover. I like what Ortega is wearing. However, his US ELLE cover [with Hunter Schafer] is my favorite,” MModa shared straight away.
“They must be FURIOUS that ELLE came out days ago. This guy will never work again at this rate. The exclusivity clause photographers have is INSANE. God knows how he got away with this!” exclaimed Kite.
Kenny commented: “I’m starting to get tired of his work at this point. Everything he’s done since September until now looks very repetitive, same vibe just with different subjects.”
“I genuinely can’t understand the point of rehashing the same idea across so many magazines,” ranted an underwhelmed prylvi.
“American Vogue used to lead the charge, and now they’re emulating and using the talent that their competitors commission. A truly sad state of affairs. That being said, I don’t mind the sight of this. I like the purple backdrop, the styling, and the overall look and feel of the shoot. I’ve seen worse!” voiced vogue28.
