Tate McRae launched her debut fragrance, TATE 01 Eau de Parfum, in partnership with Scent Beauty. At the launch, a statement necklace was the centerpiece of McRae’s outfit. It is a custom perfume pendant made by designer Isabelle Zafran. Sharing glimpses of the look on Instagram, Zafran wrote, “From the Met Gala to TATE 01. Many late nights, a few tears, and one very special pendant.” She also thanked Scent Beauty and McRae’s team.

Another reel shows how the job began. In a text exchange, a message reads, “Hey! We work with Tate McRae’s team. She needs jewelry for the Met Gala.” Zafran replied that it would “be an honor.” Her caption adds, “…and I couldn’t say anything until now,” pointing to the secrecy behind the collaboration. She also revealed that she created the custom pendant in just three days.

The statement piece remained the focal point of the singer’s look. Fashion fan page Tate McRae Wardrobe identified her dress as a YSL 2022 Bridal Ivory Silk Mini Slip Dress. The ivory satin fabric falls in soft folds from a cowl neckline, and thin straps cross at the back of the dress.

Apart from the ivory-toned dress, McRae chose to go all-YSL in an all-gold theme. She is seen wearing a pair of YSL Babylone sandals in metallic gold leather that lace up the ankle. For contrast, she opted for a black YSL Uptown Pouch with gold detailing in the logo. Other accessories also included a pair of black YSL SL 963 sunglasses. On her wrists, a Cartier Patron de Cartier watch sits beside an Anita Ko Baguette Diamond Zoe Bracelet.

The perfume-shaped pendant at her collarbone was the highlight of the ensemble, echoing the fragrance being celebrated that night.
