Jake Pavelka Marries Aimee Two Years After Their Meeting

Will Taylor Frankie Paul’s ‘Bachelorette’ Season Ever Air? Disney Exec Says…

Jake Pavelka has officially landed the one.

The Bachelor alum—who proposed to Vienna Girardi on season 14 in 2010, but called off their engagement just three months after—married his fiancée Aimee two years after meeting on a dating app.

“I wasn’t sure I would get married—and then I found Aimee,” Jake shared in an interview with People published June 8. “It almost doesn’t seem real. There’s a sense of peace and certainty that comes with knowing I get to spend my life with my best friend.”

Though Jake, 48, and Aimee, 41, spent six hours together on their first date after matching on Bumble in 2024, they opted for an “intentionally small” outdoor nuptials in Santa Barbara, Calif. As Jake put it, he wanted the wedding to be like a “gathering in our living room.”

For her part, Aimee wanted their big day to be focused on the extraordinary bond, too.

“Jake has a way of making even the ordinary moments feel special,” the bride, who works in the aerospace and defense industry, shared. “I’m so grateful that we get to build a life, create memories and grow together through every season ahead.”
