Kurt Busch’s Tribute to Late Brother Kyle Busch

Kurt Busch is grateful for the memories shared with his younger brother.

The retired NASCAR driver issued a heartfelt statement honoring his late brother Kyle Busch, who passed away last month at the age of 41 due to ongoing health complications that led to pneumonia and sepsis.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, everyone, for the well wishes, support, and love for my brother and our family,” Kurt, 47, posted on Instagram June 8 alongside cherished photos of the Busch family throughout the years. “Finding a silver lining, I reflect back on the days Kyle and I raced anything we could get our hands on.”

These invaluable memories as brothers began at a young age, Kurt recalled.

“From big wheels to competing on the biggest stages in motorsports, we were more than just fierce competitors,” Kurt emphasized regarding their nearly two decades of professional racing together. “We pushed each other, challenged each other, and learned from each other. Kyle, your passion, determination, and love for your family inspired everyone who knew you.”
