Pedro Pascal recently stated that he wishes to continue portraying his character, Din Djarin, from The Mandalorian and Grogu. The actor is set to reprise his role in the upcoming film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, directed by Jon Favreau, alongside Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and others.

Pedro Pascal recently attended a Q&A in London, where he expressed his desire to continue playing the character Din Djarin from The Mandalorian and Grogu.

After portraying the character for seven years, Pascal is finally bringing Djarin to the big screen. The Mandalorian and Grogu is scheduled for release in theaters on May 22. According to GamesRadar+, Pascal expressed gratitude for playing Djarin, stating, “It’s the longest creative relationship I’ve had; it’s the character that I’ve played the longest. Hopefully, I get to continue playing him for as long as my body, or as many bodies as we put into the suit, can take it.”

As per the official Star Wars website, the movie’s description reads: “The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.”

Pascal further elaborated on what fans can expect from the film, stating that Djarin is striving to ensure Grogu “can survive in a world without him.” He conveyed that Djarin understands Grogu will outlive him, which he finds “sentimental.” He added, “None of us wants to let go of our child, and none of us wants to keep that child from growing into everything that they can do. So that’s the very textured relationship and story that they’re able to tell on a thrill ride that you cannot believe.”
