Mary Cosby Supported RHOSLC Cast After Son’s Death, Says Angie Katsanevas

Mary Cosby from RHOSLC Shares Heartfelt Tribute to Son Robert Days After His Passing

Angie Katsanevas is in awe of Mary Cosby’s resilience.

Months after the pastor’s son Robert Cosby Jr. passed away at the age of 23, Angie discussed how Mary supported her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City costars during their mourning.

“I believe Mary has not only guided the women but is now showing the world that she’s incredibly strong,” Angie told E! News in an exclusive interview. “She inspires with her perspective on faith and what a homegoing signifies, reminding us that we return home to a place that is better and more beautiful. In many ways, she was carrying us.”

Robert Jr.—whom Mary shared with her husband Robert Cosby Sr.—was discovered deceased on Feb. 23 after officers “responded to a possible overdose,” according to a spokesperson for the Salt Lake City Police Department at that time.

The medical examiner continues to investigate the cause of death.

In the wake of this tragedy, Angie—mother to 15-year-old daughter Elektra with estranged husband Shawn Trujillo—revealed that grief quickly enveloped the RHOSLC ladies.
