Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches has released a haunting new trailer for its upcoming third season.

Based on Anne Rice’s novels, Mayfair Witches follows a talented neurosurgeon whose life is transformed after she learns she is related to powerful witches. As she investigates her family’s hidden past in New Orleans, she is forced to confront a dangerous entity, Lasher, who has been linked to her family for generations.

AMC debuted the teaser trailer during the penultimate episode of The Vampire Lestat, offering audiences a sneak peek at the installment of Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe. While the preview keeps story details under wraps, it hints that Mayfair Witches season 3 will expand the series’ mythology significantly while placing Alexandra Daddario’s Rowan Fielding at the center of another thrilling chapter of the show.

The trailer opens with Rowan appearing to be in a strange trance as she levitates off the ground, implying that her connection to the supernatural will reach new and potentially dangerous levels in the upcoming season. The teaser then shifts into a series of short but action-packed clips that tease higher stakes for Rowan and those around her in Mayfair Witches season 3.

AMC has also confirmed in a press release that the show’s third season will take place in Salem, Massachusetts. According to the official synopsis, the upcoming chapter will dive deeper into the origins of witchcraft while introducing several new characters. The story will also draw inspiration from the Salem Witch Trials, incorporating elements connected to the town’s disturbing past and the hysteria that still haunts it.

Daddario returns to reprise her role in Mayfair Witches season 3. She will be joined by her fellow cast members Harry Hamlin (Cortland Mayfair), Tongayi Chirisa (Ciprien “Sip” Grieve), and Alyssa Jirrels (Moira Mayfair). The upcoming installment also features Betsy Brandt (Katherine), Michiel Huisman (Michael), James Frain (Solomon), Eliza Scanlen (Jessica), and Omar Maskati (Leo).

There is currently no official release date for Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches season 3 at the time of this article’s publication. However, the upcoming chapter is expected to arrive in late 2026.
