Megyn Kelly Criticizes Sunny Hostin for The View Bodycam Video

Megyn Kelly recently criticized Sunny Hostin for name-dropping The View, seemingly in an effort to get her son out of trouble with the police. The podcaster and journalist gave her reaction to the bodycam footage that captures Hostin mentioning the series during an episode of The Megyn Kelly Show.

Sunny Hostin’s name-drop on The View draws criticism from Megyn Kelly

Megyn Kelly recently spoke about Sunny Hostin on Monday’s episode of her SiriusXM show. She slammed Hostin for name-dropping The View in an attempt to get her son out of a ticket following a trespassing incident.

“I do not begrudge her one second trying to help her son out in a tense and potentially scary moment,” Kelly said, before declaring, “I do begrudge her for dripping sanctimony and hypocrisy.”

The political commentator continued, “No one’s above the law. And everyone other than Sunny Hostin is swimming in privilege that she’s very pissed off about.”

Kelly claimed that Hostin “doesn’t love our country.” She added that The View co-host and lawyer “feels threatened and unsafe when she sees a neighborhood full of American flags because the country’s been just so devastating to her.”

Kelly went on to say that she considers Hostin and her Ivy League-educated son to be extremely privileged.

“Most people’s kids didn’t go to Harvard,” Kelly said. “Do you think her child got into Harvard completely on merit, or do you think she might have played the Sunny Hostin View card to help him along?”

Kelly added, “But she won’t acknowledge any of that. No, it’s all about white privilege, which she talks about all the time on that show. And Trump is evil, and his voters are white supremacists. That’s her main talking points from The View.”

The 55-year-old journalist said that it was “disgusting” of Hostin to try to use her privilege to evade justice. She also added that she believes that taking advantage of professional status in that situation is “not something most of us would do.”
