Anna Faris expressed uncertainty about her approach to motherhood.

The Scary Movie star revealed that she faced challenges connecting with other parents while raising her and ex-husband Chris Pratt’s 13-year-old son Jack.

“I didn’t always feel like I fit in with the mothers of the parents of his friends,” Faris shared exclusively with E! News at the Aug. 7 premiere of Spa Weekend in Las Vegas. “I always felt like I was kind of messing up somehow. I know I’m doing something wrong here.”

Fortunately, the 49-year-old’s concerns have been alleviated by how wonderful her teenager is, especially since he “knows a whole lot more than I thought he did.”

“I am proud that he has a deep sense of justice,” she added, “and I find him just fascinating.”

While Faris questioned if she was “fundamentally well suited to be a mom” because she considered herself “an older mom,” she feels truly honored to be raising Jack.
