They’ve now been pronounced Mr and MrsBeast.
In a union fitting for YouTube royalty, MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) married fellow content creator Thea Booysen in an intimate 70-guest ceremony on Richard Branson’s Necker Island.
The wedding was preceded by a week of festivities beginning July 14, which included kitesurfing, snorkeling and feeding the island’s wildlife. For the ceremony, Booysen, 28, wore a lacy Nicole + Felicia Couture gown. Meanwhile, MrBeast, also 28, wore a cream and black tuxedo from Ralph Lauren.
The bride revealed in an interview with People published July 21, “This is cliché, but it was heaven.”
Despite MrBeast’s knack for outrageous antics, the YouTuber previously shared his desire to keep his wedding lowkey following his proposal in December 2024. After enduring the constant public attention from his career, he wanted to ensure that he and his bride had this special moment for themselves.
“This will definitely be more family and friends—definitely more private,” MrBeast explained to People in January 2025. “I don’t take much vacation because of how hard I work, so I definitely want to make sure that the wedding will be a time to celebrate with her and spend time with friends and family.”
